Terms & Conditions

These terms govern every quotation, booking and service provided by Partywise Celebrations Sdn. Bhd. (202401186543 / 1573302-D), a company incorporated in Malaysia ("Partywise", "we"). By paying a deposit you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organisation you represent.

1. Quotations and booking

Quotations are valid for 14 days and itemise every deliverable. A booking is confirmed only when we receive your 50% deposit and issue a written confirmation with your event date. Until then, dates remain open to other clients — we cannot "pencil in" dates informally, however nicely you ask.

2. Payment

The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event. For bookings made within 14 days of the event date, full payment is due on confirmation. We accept Malaysian bank transfer, FPX and major cards; corporate clients may arrange 30-day invoice terms subject to a signed purchase order. Late balances may result in the event being paused without refund of the deposit.

3. Changes and reschedules

• Design revisions are free while your event is more than 21 days away; inside 21 days, items already fabricated or ordered are chargeable.
• One date change is free when requested at least 14 days before the event, subject to availability. Later or additional changes carry a fee of 15% of the contract value.
• Guest-count reductions notified less than 7 days out cannot reduce the contract price, as catering and rental quantities are locked by then.

4. Cancellations

Cancellation more than 30 days before the event forfeits 50% of the deposit. Cancellation 14–30 days out forfeits the full deposit. Cancellation within 14 days is charged at 100% of the contract value, reflecting fabrication, vendor and crew commitments already made. Refund mechanics are detailed in our Return & Refund Policy.

5. Weather and force majeure

Outdoor events include an agreed wet-weather plan. If we jointly trigger it, the fallback layout replaces the original at no extra design fee (equipment differences may apply). Where an event becomes impossible for reasons beyond either party's control — floods, government restrictions, venue closure — we will reschedule to a mutually agreed date without penalty, carrying all payments forward.

6. Venue, access and permits

You are responsible for the venue being lawfully available, and for any venue deposits and house rules, unless venue sourcing is in our scope. We need the access window stated in the run-sheet; if the venue delays our load-in, we will do our best within the remaining time but cannot guarantee the full design.

7. Rented items and damage

Props, structures and equipment remain our property. You are liable for loss or damage caused by guests beyond normal wear — replacement costs are listed in your contract's rental schedule. Balloon installations are handed over in good condition at setup; Malaysian heat, curious toddlers and helium physics thereafter are outside our control.

8. Photography

With your written consent in the booking form, we may photograph our décor work at your event for our portfolio. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us, and we will remove the relevant images from our channels within 14 days.

9. Liability

We carry public liability insurance for our crew and installations. Our total liability under any booking is capped at the amount you paid us. We are not liable for the acts of vendors contracted directly by you, nor for indirect losses such as loss of enjoyment or business opportunity.

10. Complaints and disputes

Tell us during the event where possible — most problems can be fixed on the spot. Formal complaints should reach [email protected] within 7 days of the event. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
