Partywise Celebrations Sdn. Bhd. ("Partywise", "we", "us") operates the website partywise.my. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the site or engage our services, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Data we collect

We keep collection deliberately narrow:

• Enquiry details — your name, email address, phone number and anything you type into the enquiry form (event date, guest count, venue notes).
• Booking and billing details — if you engage us: billing address, company details for invoicing, and payment references. We do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by licensed Malaysian payment providers.
• Technical data — basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated automatically by our hosting provider, and cookie data described in our Cookie Policy.
• Event media — photographs of our décor work at your event, where you have agreed to it in your booking form.

2. Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare proposals and quotes.
• To perform a contract with you — planning, vendor coordination, delivery and invoicing.
• To meet legal duties, such as tax record-keeping under Malaysian law.
• To showcase our work in our portfolio, only where you have consented.
• To keep the website secure and understand which pages are useful, based on the consent choices you make in the cookie banner.

3. Who sees your data

Your data is shared only where the event requires it: with venues (guest access lists), caterers (dietary counts), and other vendors contracted for your celebration — and only the minimum they need. We also use reputable service providers for web hosting and email. We never sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Where it lives and for how long

Enquiry records are kept for 24 months from last contact, then deleted. Contracts, invoices and related records are retained for 7 years to satisfy Malaysian tax and accounting requirements. Server logs rotate automatically within 90 days.

5. Your rights under the PDPA

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent to marketing or portfolio use, or ask us to delete data we are not legally required to keep. Write to [email protected] with "Data Request" in the subject line; we respond within 21 days.

6. Children

Many of our events celebrate children, but our client relationship is always with an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from anyone under 18. Photographs of children at events are taken and used only with a parent's or guardian's written consent.

7. Security

Access to enquiry and booking records is limited to staff who need it, protected by unique accounts and two-factor authentication. Paper documents, where unavoidable, are stored in a locked cabinet at our Mont Kiara studio and shredded when no longer needed.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for active clients, mention it in our next correspondence. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
